Chrome “Dangerous file blocked”

Chrome Safe Browsing often blocks .application files on new domains. This is browser-side protection — the server cannot fully disable it.

If Chrome blocked the download:

  1. Click Install (ClickOnce) below.
  2. In the downloads panel (arrow top-right), find the blocked file.
  3. Click ⋮ → Keep dangerous file.
  4. Check the size of kakaomeet.application in Downloads — it should be about 7 KB. If the size is very different (a few KB or dozens of bytes), Chrome saved an error page instead of the manifest; delete the file and download again.
  5. Double-click the downloaded kakaomeet.application to start the ClickOnce installer. “Invalid format” usually means a corrupted download.
